Paranormal Experiments

In our quest to find the truth, our group is always looking to try new ways of collecting evidence. Here are some of the current experiments we are using or have used in our investigations...

XBOX Kinect for spirit detection:

SCGH is currently experimenting with the Xbox Kinect. The Kinect uses thousands of infrared lights to detect motion.  This creates a great effect for our static infrared cameras. Coupling this with figure and motion capture software, we believe we will be able to better detect paranormal activity.  Keep an eye on our upcoming investigation reports for results.

ITC is the name that has been given by Professor Ernst Senkowski, a German physicist, for the technique of contacting spirits, using any electronic means to capture the images of spirits (ITC), and to record their voices (EVP : Electronic Voice Phenomenon). ITC is the use of tape recorder, TVs, radios, computers, telephones, and other technical devices with the intent to get meaningful information from beyond in such forms as voices, images, and text. ITC is hence the most important part of any SCGH investigation.

HTO and TRIGGER OBJECTS (aka. "Trips"):

Trigger objects are one of the most commonly used experiments for investigators. Triggers, sometimes referred to as trips, are items strategically placed to lure spirits to physically manipulate them. Trigger objects can be just about anything. Some of the items or triggers we have used successfully include balls, toy cars, dolls, stuffed animals, cigarettes, money, dominoes and even powder on the floor.  We currently use an HTO device to track spirit activity with metal objects.

FAMILIARIZATION STIMULI (aka,"The Singapore Theory"):

An attempt to recreate the environment through the use of period related items. We have often used period clothing and/or music for example to try to set the mood and increase the activity.
